About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the technical strategy for cell & gene therapy opportunities by partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and develop competitive customer proposals
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for ultracold & liquid nitrogen clinical and commercial packaging, and biorepository solutions
  • Represent Thermo Fisher during customer meetings, technical presentations, bid defenses, and facility tours, effectively communicating our capabilities and differentiators
  • Evaluate customer requirements, identify technical risks and opportunities, and recommend practical, executable solutions that align with operational capabilities
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and other technical experts to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and commercially competitive
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for customer requirements while balancing operational capabilities and business objectives
  • Continuously expand knowledge of ultracold, liquid nitrogen and biorepository market trends, and Thermo Fisher service offerings to strengthen customer solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with ultracold & liquid nitrogen clinical and commercial packaging, and biorepository
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO environments
  • Knowledge of clinical supply operations and packaging technologies
  • Experience supporting proposal development, commercial strategy, or technical sales
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
