About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with BCD leadership to understand strategic priorities and operational challenges
- Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, structured problem statements
- Identify opportunities to improve outcomes such as SIOP effectiveness, inventory optimization, and cycle time reduction
- Define data requirements across commercial, operational, and process domains
- Identify gaps in current data availability, quality, and integration
- Collaborate with enterprise data teams to enable analytics and AI-driven use cases
- Define scalable solutions leveraging enterprise platforms and emerging technologies
- Ensure solutions are designed for reuse across BPG (BCD, SUD, PPA, FSD)
- Partner with centralized engineering and delivery teams to execute solutions
- Engage across operations, commercial, and finance functions
- Identify opportunities to scale solutions beyond BCD into other BPG divisions
- Define and track business outcomes and success metrics
- Ensure solutions move from concept to adoption and scale
- Continuously refine solutions based on business feedback and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT, data, or business transformation roles, demonstrated experience leading teams
- Experience partnering with business leaders in operations and/or commercial environments
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, and digital technologies
- Experience in product- or platform-oriented operating models (preferred)
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences (preferred)
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations (preferred)
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) (preferred)
