About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide techno-functional leadership to the CMD sales and commercial Ops Organization in development of end-to-end functional quoting solutions
- Develop Oracle solutions in Quote Creation, configuration, discount management, and presentment
- Partner with the business SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to define, as well as implement, end to end Quoting solutions
- Identify and document technical gaps
- Liaise technical, functional, business, and system integrator teams
- Product Configuration & Rules, complex Configurator setting Commerce Process, Complex work flow approval, Document Designer, and Pricing functionality, Jet of Oracle CPQ Cloud
- Guide the technical team to deliver high quality solutions
- Evaluate the impact of design decisions on the code, data, integrations, and technical environment of applications
- Perform CPQ system administration and configuration
- Implement integrations with external systems and will address and enhance Oracle CPQ performance utilizing best practices around development and testing solutions and methodologies within Oracle CPQ
- Integrating CPQ with CRM/ERP systems, such as Salesforce; Waterfall and Aisle Project management methodologies; Performing GAP analysis and mapping based on requirements and Oracle big machines Platform capabilities
- Travel: Up to 10% domestic and international travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study
- 4 years of experience as a Java Developer, Principal Software Engineer or a related occupation
- Working with a Global team and working across time zones as necessary
- Standard sales process, Quote to Cash, Opportunity Management, etc.
- Oracle CPQ data model, data architecture, and data management
- Oracle CPQ Yellow & Blue Belt certification
- JavaScript, Jquery, HTML, XML
- 2+ years’ experience with Jet UI
- Best practices around development and testing solutions and methodologies within Oracle CPQ
