About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide medical oversight of clinical trials to ensure compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
Attend and present at investigator meetings
Offer medical consultation to clients and project team
Review and analyze clinical trial serious adverse events and client deliverables
Manage all medical aspects of contracted tasks across the pharmaceutical product life-cycle
Ensure tasks are completed and regulations are followed
Monitor safety variables and discuss medical concerns with principal investigators

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD or equivalent required
Active medical licensure preferred
Clinical experience in Neurology (comparable to 2 years)
Suitable clinical trial experience in Contract Research Organization or pharmaceutical company (comparable to 1-2 years)
Direct experience in safety/Pharmacovigilance (comparable to 2 years)
Knowledge of FDA, ICH, EMA and GCP guidelines
Working knowledge of relevant safety databases (e.g. Medra)
Fluent in spoken and written English
