About the role
- You are responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of our systems and instruments for genetic analysis in customers' laboratories
- In this position, you will primarily support our customers in the Rhine-Main / Heidelberg area
- You will assist customers on-site and remotely via telephone support, troubleshooting, diagnostics and user training
- You will prepare timely and detailed reports of your activities — e.g. service, installation and expense reports
Requirements
- Completed technical or scientific vocational training, preferably in electrical or medical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- A qualification as a certified technician or engineer is desirable
- Ideally, you have experience in a relevant service role with life-science or medical devices
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Confident use of digital tools, service software, mobile applications and modern technologies
