About the role

  • You are responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of our systems and instruments for genetic analysis in customers' laboratories
  • In this position, you will primarily support our customers in the Rhine-Main / Heidelberg area
  • You will assist customers on-site and remotely via telephone support, troubleshooting, diagnostics and user training
  • You will prepare timely and detailed reports of your activities — e.g. service, installation and expense reports

Requirements

  • Completed technical or scientific vocational training, preferably in electrical or medical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
  • A qualification as a certified technician or engineer is desirable
  • Ideally, you have experience in a relevant service role with life-science or medical devices
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Confident use of digital tools, service software, mobile applications and modern technologies
