About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of our systems and instruments for genetic analysis in customers' laboratories
In this position, you will primarily support our customers in the Rhine-Main / Heidelberg area
You will assist customers on-site and remotely via telephone support, troubleshooting, diagnostics and user training
You will prepare timely and detailed reports of your activities — e.g. service, installation and expense reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed technical or scientific vocational training, preferably in electrical or medical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
A qualification as a certified technician or engineer is desirable
Ideally, you have experience in a relevant service role with life-science or medical devices
Demonstrable ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
Confident use of digital tools, service software, mobile applications and modern technologies
