About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Elevate our thought leadership through compelling storytelling of scientific impact.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate research findings, methods, and trends into high-quality, publication-ready manuscripts, abstracts, and conference materials.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize complex data into accurate, compelling narratives.
- Translate peer-reviewed scientific and technical publications into accessible marketing content, including blog articles and white papers.
- Ensure scientific accuracy while adapting tone and structure for different target audiences.
- Manage multiple concurrent writing projects and publication timelines to maximize output and impact.
- Lead project-based stakeholder management across scientific, marketing, and regulatory teams.
- Facilitate efficient content review cycles, incorporating feedback while maintaining clarity and scientific integrity.
- Maintain consistent messaging aligned with brand, compliance, and business objectives.
- Serve as a key contributor to the cross-functional Editorial Council, bringing a strong scientific perspective to strategic content planning and ensuring alignment with enterprise business objectives and evolving customer needs.
- Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to shape long-term content strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6 years of professional writing experience in scientific, health care, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences, life sciences); degrees in business, communications, or related fields also acceptable
- Demonstrated experience translating complex scientific concepts into accessible, audience-appropriate content
- Experience collaborating with scientific SMEs to develop manuscripts or technical publications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and guide decisions.
