About the role
- Lead partnership pursuits, supporting the commercial team in strategic planning and account positioning/penetration strategies
- Facilitate cross-collaboration across the enterprise within partnerships: Marketing, Business Insights, Innovation, Strategic Finance
- Create and action the integrated account plan
- Review client pipelines and identify strategic targets; Identify gaps in intelligence & create actions; Create targeted engagement plans for opening market penetration
- Engage with clients to open new opportunities; Ensure effective integration of improvements and internal delivery of lessons learned
- Deliver Partnership/RFP/RFI’s through conscientious approaches; Enhance partnership implementation & maintenance activities
- Ensure delivery of data packs and analysis to support client engagement and improve partner engagement
Requirements
- Solid strategic CRO operations background and strong commercial mentality
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is the required minimum education; MBA or advanced degree is preferred
- Previous experience of 8-10 years in CRO, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sales industry is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of targeted client prioritization and analytics integration into a strategy
- Ability to develop integrated solution strategy and compelling selling narratives
- Demonstrated executive presence and influencing skills
- Ability to perform under stress and multitask
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Broad foundational understanding of technologies and processes used to manage CRO and sponsor relationships and engagements
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to implement and manage change
