About the role
- Support growth through technical sales expertise and customer relationship management
- Provide sophisticated technical guidance while promoting innovative product portfolio to academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and industrial customers
- Work closely with sales teams and customers to deliver effective value propositions
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide comprehensive application support
- Help customers advance their research and manufacturing capabilities while contributing to company mission
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of technical sales experience or equivalent laboratory/industry experience
- Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering or related scientific field
- Deep technical expertise in relevant scientific applications and workflows
- Strong presentation and consultation skills for delivering technical product demonstrations
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English; additional languages as needed
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant technical software
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
- Ability to travel 50-75% of time to customer sites and events
- Experience developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Self-directed with ability to work independently while supporting team objectives
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with scientific advances
