About the role

  • Ensures all service activities are performed in accordance with internal rules and customer requirements
  • Provides telephone support and on-site diagnostics to meet customer expectations and ensure the proper use of laboratory instruments
  • Actively promotes our service products (service contracts, spare parts, etc.)
  • Continuously maintains high-quality professional relationships with our customers to build loyalty and, when necessary, to resolve issues and find solutions as quickly as possible
  • Adheres to our professional code of conduct and ethics
  • Responsible for managing company equipment assigned to them, such as company vehicle, laptop, phone, tools, manuals, etc.
  • Optimizes the organization of their schedule and site visits, taking into account the calendars of all partners (Customer Service Department, team managers, others)
  • Responsible for completing activity reports on time for all activities that require them (e.g., Service Report, Maintenance Report, etc.)
  • Serves as the point of contact for all activities on customer sites and informs other Thermo Fisher Scientific interlocutors of important information while ensuring customer satisfaction (e.g., information regarding new orders, quotes)
  • Under metrology authorization: prepares quotes, plans services, performs contract review, compiles the metrology file, conducts measurements, records raw data, processes results, drafts certificates/test reports, and sends validated results to the customer.
