About the role
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the Bioscience Division's goals, focusing on flow cytometry reagents.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to promote our products to academic, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical customers.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across various functions and levels within client accounts.
- Achieve or exceed sales quotas and objectives, ensuring profitability and 100% customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Technical, and Customer Support teams.
- Conduct technical seminars related to the product portfolio.
- Understand assigned products and applications, as well as competitor products' features and benefits.
- Contribute to the North America commercial team by sharing leads, developing opportunities, and improving account penetration.
- Train and support commercial representatives to maintain and grow key accounts.
- Manage sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking using CRM and other IT tools.
- Attend and support local trade shows and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related field
- 5 plus years of related work experience
- Hands-on experience in a research laboratory setting using flow cytometry is required
- Previous sales experience selling consumable reagents or flow cytometry-related equipment in the RUO market is preferred
- Awareness of the life science marketplace, particularly the flow cytometry market, trends, and competitors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and implement in advance.
- Team-oriented with effective communication and presentation skills.
