About the role
- Provide management and direction to remote laboratory staff at client sites
- Provide administrative resources for employee activities and needs
- Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff
- Ensure staff responsiveness and overall client satisfaction
- Meet regularly with client contacts to monitor the technical performance of staff and their project timeliness
- Track Key Performance Indicators and metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 8+ years’) OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 6+ years’)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Proven leadership skills with an ability to train and mentor junior staff
- Pharmaceutical experience required
- Ability to independently develop project proposals and plans
- Demonstrated understanding of the bid process and can apply expertise of others to develop programs to meet unique client needs
- Understanding of basic financial terms and definitions as it applies to the business
- Ability to cultivate a collaborative work environment with a team
- Effective written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
