About the role
- Lead and execute the growth strategy for the Epilepsy book of business.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of therapeutic studies, portfolios, and client engagements.
- Maintain expertise in the evolving scientific, clinical, and regulatory landscape for epilepsy.
- Collaborate with Neuroscience leaders and partner with Business Development to retain and expand key client relationships.
- Develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure effective management of budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets across programs.
- Mentor and develop therapeutic area talent, fostering collaboration and innovation across global teams.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline required; advanced neuroscience background strongly preferred.
- Deep and current knowledge of the scientific, clinical, regulatory, and competitive landscape related to epilepsy.
- Strong global awareness and understanding of the development and delivery environment within neurological therapeutics.
- Proven commercial and financial acumen.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead global cross-functional teams through change and growth.
- Strong customer management skills, including the ability to engage at the executive level.
- In-depth understanding of the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, clinical trial operations, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including excellent command of the English language.
