About the role
- Drive sales of laboratory informatics software and automation solutions, including laboratory robotics, workflow management systems, and integrated digital platforms
- Proactively manage the sales cycle—lead generation, qualification, discovery, and closure—across assigned territories
- Conduct outbound campaigns and follow up on inbound inquiries to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with Field Account Managers and Product Specialists to coordinate territory strategy, product demonstrations, and joint sales calls
- Maintain accurate sales activities and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM
- Provide consultative mentorship to customers, aligning software capabilities with laboratory workflows and compliance needs
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Build strong customer relationships to develop dedication and long-term partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a scientific, engineering, or computer science field
- 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally within software, SaaS, or laboratory informatics and automation solutions
- Proven success in outbound sales, pipeline development, and closing business remotely
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and virtual engagement tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Experience selling to scientific, technical, or IT collaborators is strongly preferred.
