About the role

  • Develop strategic annual marketing plans, including analysis of customer segments, competitor analysis, business trends, and market opportunities.
  • Regularly report performance to key leaders and build improvement plans as needed.
  • Drive demand generation programs and evaluate the performance and optimization plans.
  • Ensure focus on customers and addressing their pain points.
  • Craft marketing content across customer journey optimized for various channels, including web, video, social media, paid search and display advertising.
  • Create channel promotional plans.
  • Develop selling tools and customer-facing materials.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multi-brand strategy in all aspects of our marketing programs.
  • Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards.
  • Partner with regional marketing development managers to build and implement marketing programs within their regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Required in Life Sciences, Marketing or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing experience Required in Biopharma / Biotech segment preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of the following key competencies: value proposition development, 4Ps, 3Cs and marketing mix, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, customer segmentation, voice of customer
  • Experience with product area marketing plans, general knowledge of operating plans or industry practices for promoting and selling similar products
  • Experience developing messaging for sales and customer-facing materials
  • Outstanding communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary
  • Strong business sense and customer focus
