About the role
- Join Thermo Fisher's Corporate IT remote team as a Workday HCM Architect to craft HR solutions, focusing on Workday's innovations in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & productivity focus areas
- Optimize Workday’s skills-based talent management solutions, including Skills Cloud, Talent Marketplace, and Career Hub, to drive strategic workforce planning initiatives, multifaceted career pathing and facilitate internal talent movement
- Leverage Workday’s AI capabilities to improve recruiting, hiring, career pathing and succession planning
- Implement solutions that harness Generative AI capabilities like Workday Everywhere, Agentic AI and Succession Agent
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements within Workday, finding opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Partner with business partners, internal IT staff and external consultants to ensure effective definition and delivery of HR Technology
Requirements
- B.S or M.S. in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other engineering field required with equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in the development/configuration and implementation of tier 1 Human Resources software or information technology systems
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect
- Demonstrable experience in enterprise software application development, integrations, and architecture
- Hands-on experience with the development, implementation, and integration of Workday HCM
- Experience in implementing upgrades of cloud-based solutions
- Experience in providing consultation, crafting and deploying of both HR AI and talent strategies and solutions
- Sound knowledge of business processes, system to system integrations, information/platform security
- Ability to manage competing demands and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Upbeat and self-motivated professional with good interpersonal, planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Self-starter with a passion for learning new skills and an interest in AI.
