About the role
- Lead the North American commercial team in successfully implementing strategic growth initiatives and commercial activities
- Develop and implement the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to support divisional AOP and STRAP
- Collaborate across functions such as Service Management, Customer Services, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain to improve customer value
- Foster and strengthen high-level customer relationships, serving as a point of contact for any concerns raised by our partners and representing Thermo Fisher Scientific in senior-level discussions
- Align actions and processes across local, regional, and global teams to improve customer happiness and achieve a world-class Customer Allegiance Score (CAS)
- Attract, develop, and retain talent while building an effective leadership succession pipeline
- Foster an inclusive environment that drives employee engagement measured by the Employee Involvement Survey (EIS)
Requirements
- Four-year degree in a relevant field (business or life sciences)
- At least 10 years of proven experience in a commercial sales or marketing management role, preferably within the Life Sciences industry
- Relevant experience in managing business functions with a minimum of 5 years of P&L general management experience
- Demonstrated experience in driving growth and share gain in a large, complex business through direct and indirect sales channels
- Strong knowledge of financial and business operations with proven ability to drive margin expansion and operational improvements
- Ability to develop creative growth strategies and guide successful execution
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a multi-divisional matrix organization
