About the role
- Ensure all activities align with relevant laws and regulations
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulations, determining their impact on operations
- Develop and implement import compliance policies and procedures
- Quickly identify and resolve compliance issues, mitigating risks to the company
- Adapt to changing regulations and business needs effectively
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global regulations and standards
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on compliance matters
- Monitor and interpret changing regulations
- Liaise with regulatory authorities as needed
- Collect, analyze, and manage data
- Maintain detailed records of compliance activities and documentation
- Apply data management tools to track and report compliance metrics
- Operate autonomously, leading multiple tasks and projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless compliance integration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Law, or a related field
- 5 years of proven experience in compliance, with a focus on import compliance
- Extensive knowledge of import regulations and compliance procedures
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
- Strong communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
