About the role
- Lead the region's controllership function for the Life Sciences Solutions Group
- Drive financial reporting and consolidation process for all sites within the NA region
- Oversight of the work performed by the local accounting teams supporting the Life Sciences Solutions Group in NA
- Review balance sheet and income statement fluxes
- Drive working capital performance and achievement of cash and DSO targets
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, company policy
- Collaborate with technical accounting teams to review complex transactions
- Coordination with external and internal auditors on audits and quarterly reviews
- Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Qualification strongly desired (CPA or MBA)
- 10 years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience with a combination of public accounting and industry experience
- Experience in leading a diverse global financial month-end while maintaining a strong control environment
- Experience with JDE E1 and Hyperion Financial Management preferred
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP with proven technical skills including experience with complex revenue arrangements
- Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required.
