About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to refine high-level product goals into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Prioritize and manage the team’s backlog to ensure a steady flow of development-ready work.
Create detailed tickets, user stories, and well-defined acceptance criteria
Coordinate with the team and management to meet product release goals in a Kanban development environment
Serve as an internal expert in your product area, providing ongoing guidance and support to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in and help lead Agile team meetings, including grooming, design and requirements refinement, daily standups and retros.
Coordinate with QA and Developers to validate that all requirements are met before release.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders, sharing updates, clarifying requirements, and ensuring alignment throughout the development process.
Coordinate with the Release team and Product Management to support release planning, documentation and customer-facing publications.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or equivalent role in software development.
Strong understanding of Agile software development and backlog management practices.
Experience writing clear and complete user stories and acceptance criteria.
Exceptional communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with healthcare and EHR systems preferred; behavioral health experience is a strong plus.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and similar product management tools.
