About the role
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with TherapyNotes’ company goals.
- Synthesize business objectives, user insights, and market opportunities into a data-informed, prioritized roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for competitive differentiation through innovation and exceptional user experience.
- Manage product launches end-to-end, from ideation through release and adoption.
- Partner closely with engineering, product owners, design, and QA to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
- Write clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor feature performance and user feedback post-release to ensure continuous improvement and measurable impact.
- Advocate for user experience excellence across all areas of the product.
- Combine qualitative and quantitative insights, including usage data, customer feedback, and research, to inform decisions.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within healthcare and SaaS.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value and user impact.
- Align product, design, engineering, and go-to-market teams around a unified vision and set of priorities.
- Communicate decisions and trade-offs with clarity and transparency, ensuring technical and business teams stay in sync.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software product manager, preferably in the healthcare or behavioral health SaaS industry.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
- Proven ability to manage evolving projects from concept through launch, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Curiosity and empathy for users, with experience conducting research such as interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform product direction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfort with data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data-driven personalization.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with a track record of working effectively across engineering, design, QA, and business teams.
- Comfortable taking end-to-end responsibility for one or more product areas in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
