About the role
- Financial management: You are responsible for the kitchen’s budget.
- Strategic development: You set objectives and develop concepts for the future direction of our food services.
- Operational process management: You oversee inventory management and procurement, ensuring consistently smooth operations.
- Quality standards: You define and maintain quality standards.
- Project work: A kitchen software system is currently being implemented and will need to be populated with recipes.
- Empathetic team leadership: You lead a team of around 20 with appreciation, clarity, and motivation — from chefs and kitchen assistants to storeroom staff.
- Concept and menu development: You will further develop offerings for breakfast, lunch, evening meals and ward/ patient catering.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or equivalent commercial training.
- Ideally, professional experience in the food service or hospitality sector.
- Experience with budget responsibility and leadership duties.
- Creativity, initiative and the willingness to develop and implement new ideas.
- Fluent German (spoken and written), minimum C1 level.
