About the role

  • Financial management: You are responsible for the kitchen’s budget.
  • Strategic development: You set objectives and develop concepts for the future direction of our food services.
  • Operational process management: You oversee inventory management and procurement, ensuring consistently smooth operations.
  • Quality standards: You define and maintain quality standards.
  • Project work: A kitchen software system is currently being implemented and will need to be populated with recipes.
  • Empathetic team leadership: You lead a team of around 20 with appreciation, clarity, and motivation — from chefs and kitchen assistants to storeroom staff.
  • Concept and menu development: You will further develop offerings for breakfast, lunch, evening meals and ward/ patient catering.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or equivalent commercial training.
  • Ideally, professional experience in the food service or hospitality sector.
  • Experience with budget responsibility and leadership duties.
  • Creativity, initiative and the willingness to develop and implement new ideas.
  • Fluent German (spoken and written), minimum C1 level.
