Finance and Operations Manager
THEMIS Waste Recovery TechnologyFinance & Operations Manager driving financial operations and AI adoption in a fintech compliance platform. Collaborating with the CEO and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Track budgets and key financial metrics; surface insights and flag issues proactively
- Own core financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and address reconciliation issues with the Accounting and Invoicing vendors
- Prepare materials and manage the submission process for investment requests on behalf of the CEO
- Draft, compile, and maintain Investor updates
- Support the CEO in ad hoc financial and operational analyses needed for external meetings, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
- Identify and lead high-leverage opportunities to automate or streamline internal workflows using AI across functions like finance, operations, HR, Customer Success
- Build, document, and roll out AI-powered processes that reduce manual effort and improve consistency across the company
- Support production of the company newsletter, including content coordination, drafting, scheduling, and distribution
- Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies across the company
- Build scalable systems and processes that grow with the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–5 years of experience in finance, operations, or a related business function, ideally at a startup or high-growth company
- Strong financial acumen — comfortable with P&L, cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience preparing executive-level materials such as board decks, investor updates, or financial summaries
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
- High proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and financial modeling
- Strong written communication skills — able to translate complex information into clear, compelling materials
- Self-starter with strong organizational instincts and exceptional attention to detail.
