About the role

  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to gather, refine, and prioritize user stories and requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Analyze current digital banking processes, identify pain points, and recommend enhancements leveraging agile methodologies.
  • Support automation, digitization, and regulatory compliance in solution design.
  • Identify potential impacts of proposed designs to any element of the end-to-end process.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and validate solutions that meet business and customer needs.
  • Participate in solution evaluation, ensuring alignment with agile principles and maximizing value delivery.
  • Develop stakeholder maps and communication plans tailored to agile project environments.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring transparency and shared understanding.
  • Support the creation and execution of test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and continuous feedback loops.
  • Troubleshoot issues and facilitate rapid resolution during sprints.
  • Maintain agile documentation (user stories, process maps, release notes).
  • Facilitate training and onboarding for new systems and processes.
  • Provide insights through data analysis to inform decision-making and measure project success.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts) and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst on agile projects, preferably in financial services or digital banking.
  • Proven track record supporting internet/mobile banking initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Proficiency in agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello).
  • Experience with process mapping (BPMN), user story writing, and backlog management.
  • Clear understanding of technical concepts, including familiarity with APIs, mobile/web technologies, and SDLC.
  • Data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies (e.g., BABOK).
  • Proficiency in producing quality requirements and process deliverables (e.g., BRDs, use cases, user stories, process maps) and other related documentation.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., Visio) and techniques.
