About the role
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and the Scrum framework
- Identify and remove obstacles to ensure smooth delivery
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure backlog clarity and prioritization
- Track and report key metrics (velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders
- Ensure transparency and effective communication across teams and departments
- Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams when required
- Drive adoption of Agile best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Mentor new Scrum Masters and contribute to the Agile community within the organization
- Facilitate cross-team coordination for dependencies and shared deliverables
- Advocate for continuous learning by organizing workshops, training sessions, and knowledge sharing activities
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required
- Additional Agile certifications (SAFe, PMI-ACP, ICAgile) are a plus
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
