About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a key role in designing, developing, and documenting mechanical & plumbing systems for projects
- Close coordination with architects, interior designers, engineering consultants, and internal cross-discipline engineering team members
- Collaborate with internal members of the mechanical and plumbing design team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for building construction.
- Design process knowledge: planning, design modeling, specification, project mgmt, and construction support.
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards. (ASHRAE, IBC, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems.
- Energy modeling and sustainable design practices and software. Carrier HAP and LoopCAD.
- PLUS (but NOT required) - Revit Skills
- PLUS (but NOT required) - Professional Engineering License
