Field Sales Merchandiser
The Wonderful CompanyField Sales Merchandiser increasing brand awareness for The Wonderful Company household brands. Responsible for developing retail relationships and maintaining authorized product distribution.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain 100+ grocery retail relationships within assigned territory
- Determine the best location within each store for sales of Wonderful products
- Rotate and stock all authorized products on store calls
- Maintain schematic integrity while re-merchandising projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with retailer personnel and supervisors
- Sell, up-sell, and maintain retail distribution of authorized products
- Accurately record all data-gathering objectives
- Execute and monitor company-driven marketing initiatives
- Provide chain-specific information and communication daily
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven retail sales success promoting grocery store products
- Capability to provide compelling rationales to store management staff
- Prior experience and understanding of managing a large store territory
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and partnership-building skills
- Remain detail-oriented, goal-minded, and problem-solving
- Enjoy working with people and effective interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
