About the role
- Lead complex Epic-based revenue integrity initiatives from strategy through execution
- Conduct operational and workflow assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Translate business requirements into Epic system design and configuration plans
- Manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, and deliverables
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across finance, compliance, and clinical leadership
- Oversee testing, training, go-live readiness, and stabilization
- Develop dashboards and metrics to measure revenue improvement outcomes
- Drive change management and user adoption
- Travel onsite up to 25% for critical milestones and go-lives
Requirements
- 7+ years of healthcare project management experience
- 5+ years leading Epic Revenue Cycle or Revenue Integrity initiatives
- Direct experience improving:
- Charge capture
- Coding accuracy
- Denials reduction
- Clean claim rate
- Reimbursement performance
- Hands-on or leadership experience with Epic revenue cycle modules
- Proven success leading enterprise or multi-site healthcare implementations
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate independently in a consulting/contract environment.
- Epic experience is mandatory.
