About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the strategic direction of technology and digital programs for Disney Cruise Line’s Onboard Guest Fulfillment Systems
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish technology strategies and bring them to market
  • Develop business and product strategies aligned with Disney Cruise Line’s digital and technology roadmap
  • Gather project requirements and collaborate with creative, technology, and other impacted teams
  • Drive implementation of the business digital and technology roadmap
  • Ensure development teams understand product goals and priorities
  • Translate product concepts into user stories, epics, and other product deliverables
  • Represent product management in daily product and enhancement rollout activities
  • Support defect triage with technical, creative, and production teams from cause through resolution
  • Communicate with partners across Digital & Technology and the broader Disney organization
  • Assist in creating and implementing a product-centric team strategy for Cast and Crew-facing applications
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and may lead team members while solving complex problems and identifying innovative solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 7 years of product management experience in digital customer experience for global or national brands
  • Experience working with technology, design, project management, business, and user experience teams
  • Ability to use hard data to form assumptions and develop business cases
  • Experience presenting product performance and program success
  • Strategic thinking and ability to guide ideas into action
  • Willingness to take personal initiative
  • Experience collaborating through partnerships and interacting with leadership at all levels
  • Experience identifying technical, user, and business issues in an organization
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
  • Experience with data, data science, analytics, and business intelligence preferred
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred
