About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify trending game and social moments and translate them into engaging digital video content
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to create and distribute videos that activate new audiences
- Analyze performance metrics to recommend enhancements that improve engagement
- Manage production timelines effectively to ensure projects are delivered on schedule
- Stay current on latest trends, technology and best practices to support continuous improvement across ESPN platforms including YouTube
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in digital and social media with exposure to video production and content creation
- Proficiency in non‑linear editing tools such as Premiere, Final Cut, Avid, Quantel, or After Effects
- Strong working knowledge of current sports storylines including key teams, players, and cultural moments
- Ability to track and interpret social media trends
- Skilled in headline writing and content packaging with an understanding of effective distribution tactics
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and deliver accurate work in a fast‑paced production environment
- Senior year preferred in Communications, Journalism, Sports Media or related major.
