About the role

  • Contribute to the development of communication strategies that protect and enhance the reputation of Disney Experiences through work in the corporate social responsibility space
  • Write articles and produce content for external communications vehicles, including blog posts, social media posts, executive speaking points, media messaging, and more
  • Develop and design clever and strategic visuals across a variety of mediums, including infographics, executive presentations, short-form videos, digital slides, and more
  • Help facilitate photo, video, and media shoots
  • Assist in media monitoring and analysis to help provide strategic communication recommendations to Public Affairs executives
  • Assist in event management of Corporate Social Responsibility events
  • Support reputational storytelling and content strategy as a member of the Public Affairs organization
  • Work across the segment business unit with a variety of Disney partner groups and report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from January 2026 through June 2026

Requirements

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Well-versed in grammar and punctuation
  • Writing and presentation skills
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional poise
  • Good collaboration and integration skills
  • Proven ability to work well independently or in a group, and a self-starter
  • Proficiency in basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Mac/MS Office environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications
  • The ability and willingness to learn new software applications
  • Disney parks knowledge/experience (preferred)
  • Well-versed in AP Style (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
  • Junior or Senior preferred; pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Fully available Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time Zone, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
