About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, development, deployment, and operational ownership of scalable data pipelines
Architect and evolve the data platform to support scalability, resiliency, and robust validation frameworks
Drive engineering excellence by establishing and enforcing best practices
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Partner cross-functionally with product management and engineering teams to align on priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of related experience in Cloud development using AWS services
Strong programming skills in Python and other object-oriented languages
Experience designing and operating scalable, production-grade data pipelines
Experience using source control systems (GitLab, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate
Experience with IAC, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK
Experience in SQL (Postgres, Snowflake, etc.)
Experience with scripting using BASH, or SHELL
