About the role
- Lead the delivery of data modeling, data contract design & creation, and product lifecycle management for enterprise data products.
- Define and evolve data product strategies aligned with financial and operational objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data modeling and integration practices.
- Partner with engineering leads to ensure scalable, performant, and secure data solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Analyze and work on gap analysis for management of financial and operational data pipelines from various sources into a modernized platform.
- Develop and manage timelines, budgets, acceptance criteria, and service levels for data initiatives.
- Represent the data product function in executive-level discussions and strategic planning.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience delivering data solutions, including direct leadership of engineering teams and studios.
- Proven experience in data product management, with a strong focus on financial or operational data domains.
- Strong data modelling design and documentation skills following the full delivery life cycle of business engagement through to conceptual, logical and physical data design and project delivery; supporting business units’ data, business intelligence and AI/ML needs
- Deep technical knowledge of platforms and tools such as AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK).
- Experience with streaming data processing concepts including batch and real-time in-the-moment insight creation and distribution
- Experience working in the hospitality, travel, or entertainment industry is a plus.
