About the role
- Lead the strategy, negotiation and execution of technical, content protection, advertising, and data terms with partners
- Support Platform Distribution Sales teams to negotiate carriage of TWDC’s content
- Manage and collaborate across departments to align efforts with network priorities
- Partner with the Data and Advertising team to establish monetization strategies
- Lead applicable vendor negotiations/agreements
- Create a team environment that fosters candor and collaboration
- Build relationships internally and externally for negotiations
- Oversee and manage two direct reports
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience
- 1+ year leadership experience strongly preferred
- Aptitude and enthusiasm for navigating and analyzing contracts and other legal documents
- In-depth knowledge of distribution agreements and vendor obligations
- In-depth knowledge of project management practices
- Excellent relationship building, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills
- Recognized as a technical business negotiations subject matter expert
- In-depth appreciation of the needs and concerns of distribution partners
- Strong understanding of TWDC’s streaming products
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Some travel and non-traditional work hours required depending on business needs.
