About the role
- Lead the strategy, design, delivery, and continuous evolution of HR technology capabilities aligned to Disney’s business and workforce strategies.
- Act as the principal technology partner to the global HR organization, embedding technology leadership into all facets of HR transformation, including workforce planning, performance, compensation, succession, talent acquisition, learning, and employee experience.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of platforms including SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and next-generation AI-enabled solutions to modernize the employee lifecycle and workplace experience.
- Champion a modern product delivery model — organizing teams around business capabilities, with end-to-end ownership and empowered cross-functional teams delivering value iteratively using Agile methodologies and DevOps automation.
- Co-create a strategic HR technology roadmap with HR, COEs, and business segments, focusing on workforce productivity, collaboration, data-driven insights, and personalized employee experiences.
- Evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, and SaaS offerings to ensure Disney remains at the forefront of innovation in workforce and talent technologies.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, test-and-learn, and targeted innovation, balancing business impact with technical feasibility and risk.
- Ensure effective and secure operations of all HR systems globally, with robust support models, SLA compliance, and proactive incident management.
- Lead vendor negotiations and strategic partnerships, driving cost-effective, value-based outcomes and long-term technology sustainability.
- Build and enforce standards for data integrity, governance, privacy, and compliance, working closely with HR Analytics and enterprise data teams to translate insights into actionable solutions.
- Ensure seamless technology integrations across the enterprise, including Finance, Legal, and Operations systems, to create a unified, intuitive experience for employees and managers.
- Cultivate trusted relationships with senior HR, business, and IT leaders to drive alignment, accountability, and adoption of HR technology solutions.
- Strategically align organizational structures and processes to support the evolving business goals, ensuring that the organization is efficient and structured to adapt to future changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 15+ years of relevant experience leading enterprise-scale Technology organizations in global, complex environments
- Demonstrated success leading Agile transformations, Product Management practices, and DevOps adoption in HR or enterprise platforms
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action; able to connect vision to execution and deliver measurable business outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, capable of navigating a matrixed organization and aligning diverse teams
- Strong operational background with a track record of delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing platforms globally
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing external SaaS partners and technology vendors, including contract negotiation and performance management
- Deep understanding of AI, data analytics, and their applications in workforce productivity, decision-making, and experience design.
