About the role
- Build features, maintain existing code, and fix bugs in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Implement best practices to continually increase performance and scalability
- Collaborate with the team to peer review code and suggest optimizations
- Work with product managers to refine specs and timelines
- Advocate for quality through innovation, curiosity and thoughtful debate
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline or its equivalent
- Expertise in HTML & CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and React Library
- Experience with Tailwindcss or SCSS
- Experience with Node.js and Next.js or Express.js
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha, Vitest)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to deliver project tasks on time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-starting individual
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to use standard software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools such as Jira and Confluence, version control systems (e.g. Git), and CI/CD tools and pipelines
