About the role

  • Operate as part of the local content planning team in the Nordic region
  • Plan and merchandise the Branded series for Disney+ Nordics & Baltics
  • Balance the needs and content availabilities with the local service aligning to the global vision
  • Create local content performance reports and present to the content planning team
  • Work closely with US colleagues managing operational preparation of content
  • Collaborate with Content Localization and Operations Planner
  • Ensure the broader content workflow process operates as required
  • Develop short-, medium- and long-term content strategies for the regions
  • React to market and consumer trends
  • Optimize content plans across all forms of content
  • Set content drop strategy based on localization deliveries and local content road map
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking documents and ensure information is shared effectively
  • Handle sensitive planning information discreetly

Requirements

  • Solid experience working within a broadcast or SVOD environment
  • Experience of working with content windowing
  • Experience of using performance data to develop content strategies
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of the TWDC brands and kids & family oriented content featured within the service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working within a global entertainment company and ability to build rapport with diverse teams across multiple territories
  • Experience of working within a Content Management System required
  • Experience of working within Excel and Google sheets required
  • Ability to embrace the understanding of new technologies that the role will be required to feed into
  • Ability to balance broad strategic thinking with the need to focus on intricate detail
  • A robust knowledge of the SVOD market and close competitors
  • Strong levels of organisation
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and developing business demands
  • Effective communicator and relationship builder
  • Curious and “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity
