Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and collaborate on software work involving trading infrastructure, computing and data processing, flexible model-development pipelines, and related areas
Design, develop, and maintain robust software supporting trading strategies and research initiatives
Engage in complex projects from requirements gathering through software design and implementation
Reason about supporting and dependent technologies
Communicate effectively with teammates
Collaborate closely with Senior Software Engineers and receive mentorship and coaching

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience developing in a Linux environment with a focus on performance, concurrency, and correctness using Python, R, Java, Go, and/or C/C++
Demonstrated backend engineering experience with databases, large-scale data processing, and highly available services
Ability to design, develop, and deploy a back-end application given design specifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork
Familiarity with modern deployment and build tooling such as Kubernetes and Bazel (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
Graduating class of 2027
Authorization to work in the United States
