About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development of the annual operating budget and long-term strategic growth plans relating to sales, margin, and expenses
Monitor actual financial performance, compared to budget & forecast and interpret variances during the month-end close
Build and maintain complex financial models using Excel & incorporate trends gathered from disparate sources
Partner with the Accounting department to process accruals in accordance with month-end close
Support calculation and issuance of the quarterly ambassador commission payouts for the Wellness Partnership Program
Responsible for ad-hoc requests and analysis relating to sales, margin, and/or expenses
Support preparation of month-end financial reporting packages & management presentations
Conduct deep dives into performance metrics & develop root cause analyses
Maintain, enhance, and further develop dashboards and reporting
Assist with projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction
1-2 years of finance/accounting experience
Working knowledge of financial and accounting principles
Advanced PC skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Ability to work with ambiguity and synthesize complex data to draw business insights
Strong attention to detail & accuracy in work products
Snowflake, SQL experience a plus
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to effectively communicate a point of view to all levels of management, and cross-functional teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects within tight timelines
