About the role
- Partner closely with product teams in DCX and the wider business to deliver impactful user research.
- Lead your own research projects, from discovery through evaluation.
- Support the broader research practice by sharing your knowledge and best practices.
- Balance hands-on research execution with mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborate with product designers to ensure insights are deeply embedded in the product development process.
- Plan and run mixed-method research studies independently.
- Design and conduct studies that include accessibility considerations and involve users with access needs.
- Utilise tools such as Maze, UserTesting, Survicate, and Fable to gather insight.
- Interpret and synthesise findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Communicate findings clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience delivering UX research influencing product decisions.
- Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experienced in accessibility research and working with users with access needs.
- Proficient with research tools such as Maze, UserTesting, Survicate, and Fable.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior researchers or product designers.
- Comfortable working in agile product teams.
- Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.
