About the role
- Design and build highly scalable backend features for a next-generation data security platform
- Tackle complex problems in a fast-paced environment—balancing speed with reliability
- Collaborate closely with engineering partners to solve data engineering and platform challenges
- Contribute to system design decisions, technical direction, and engineering best practices as the product scales
Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Strong development background in Golang, Scala, Java, Python, or C#
- Strong fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL
- Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams
- Able to work onsite 4 days/week in San Jose, CA (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for a full-time (non-contract) role
- Experience solving data engineering problems at production scale (nice to have)
- Familiarity with cloud/distributed tooling such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka (Confluent), CloudFormation (CFTs) (nice to have)
