About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
- Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, students, staff, and faculty.
- Assist with coordination, setup, and tear down of on-site meetings, workshops, and department events.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the office suite.
- Monitor, order, and stock office supplies to ensure uninterrupted daily operations.
- Process and distribute mail and packages.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, move, and arrange packages, bulk shipment boxes (such as swag or graduation gowns), or event furniture up to 25 lbs.
- 2+ years of experience in office administration, operations, or a receptionist role (experience assisting with event logistics or working in higher education is a plus).
- Current commission as a Notary Public, or the ability and willingness to become commissioned within 2 months of hire.
