About the role
- Maximize sales potential with assigned accounts in Latin America (primary focus on Mexico & Brazil)
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing partners and identify new partner prospects
- Develop and implement sales, marketing and engagement plans with key accounts using a customized approach (CSP)
- Provide training opportunities for agents via virtual engagement, trainings, client presentations, product info sessions, and e-commerce strategies
- Escort familiarization trips for travel advisors as necessary
- Ensure marketing collateral utilization and prominent placement in key account agencies
- Manage brochure supply and regional distribution
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and evaluate ROI of trade and consumer shows/events
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Salesforce and utilize Salesforce reports
- Maintain KPIs, Aladdin and Sales Force logging, and CSP usage
- Seek out and foster group business; maintain contact with originating agent through process and post-group follow-up
- Manage T&E budget and co-op marketing funds cost-effectively
- Assist Management and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years sales and customer service experience
- 3+ years travel industry experience
- 3+ years territory sales experience
- CSP Consultative Sales Process
- Fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a strong plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint), LCD/Data projection, Internet and webinar tools
- Sales Force CSP (Consultative Sales Process) experience
- Ability to use Excel spreadsheets to store and manipulate account data
- Must be based in the U.S.
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Able to travel extensively throughout the territory (more than 65% overnight travel may be required)
- Able to produce a suitable automobile with required licenses and insurance
