About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management
- Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty
- Support a positive customer shopping experience
- Maintain a professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store
- Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department
- Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect
- Respond to customer assistance requests by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio
- Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to loss prevention or store management
- Perform a closing safety sweep with a member of management
- Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Exercise sound judgment to ensure personal safety, others' safety, and protection of the Company brand
- Adhere to Company policies and support Company culture and values
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong verbal and written communication
- Sound decision-making skills
- Ability to take initiative and perform well independently
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload and manage time effectively
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- 0–2 years of retail or security experience
- Must wear a complete Company-approved uniform including a body-worn camera
- Must review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
- Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures
