About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with District Leaders to ensure Home Office merchandise presentation vision is executed across all stores
- Travel to stores and teach, coach, and train merchandise presentation standards
- Lead brand vision and strategy through informal influencing and trusted strategic partnership
- Role-model, coach, and train the off-price model and merchandise presentation standards
- Act as liaison between stores and Home Office regarding merchandise presentation and signage
- Identify successes and provide guidance on opportunities
- Analyze district sales trends and inventory levels, providing recommendations to field teams to drive profitable sales
- Support New Store Openings and Subject Matter Experts during the NSO process
- Work cross-functionally on remodels, relocations, end-of-life, and special projects
- Partner with the Regional Presentation Manager and District Leaders to identify and train SMEs and MPTs
- Support new Store and District Leaders in validating training and signing off on merchandise presentation standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 to 5 years of retail Store Management experience
- Post-secondary education in Business, Education, or a related field preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel by car and air
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong people management skills, including teaching, coaching, and training for maximum performance
- Informal influencing and strategy development skills to drive sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships and trusted partnerships
- Solid leadership skills and ability to collaborate with district, store, and regional partners
- Strategic and innovative thinking, adapting to current and future business trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify and develop talent
- Ability to lead by example and model TJX Cultural Factors
