About the role
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and embodying customer experience principles and philosophy
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment and uphold organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and support store shrink reduction goals and programs
- May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs
- Accurately ring customer purchases/returns, count change, and promote credit and loyalty programs
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and procedures; process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day and participate in maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback; participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures; perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Possesses excellent customer service skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
- Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Works effectively with peers and supervisors
- Retail customer experience preferred
