About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform analyses, reporting, and reconciliation related to accurate, on-time freight payments
Work closely with Freight Payment Leadership and internal and external partners on root cause analysis of invoicing errors
Evaluate error trends and solutions by mode, service, operation, and location across all carriers/providers
Update and standardize aggregate freight payment processes
Ensure freight payment requirements are documented, communicated, and actioned
Support audit preparation and documentation
Work cross-functionally on special projects supporting capacity and network expansions
Support freight team leadership
Solve freight pay discrepancies
