About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with experienced professionals in the Global Sourcing & Procurement Programs & Technology co-op program
- Support Technology, Diversity, Supplier Management, and Sustainability programs
- Gather and organize data on new technology
- Collect and compile feedback from users and stakeholders
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
- Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
- Support technology roadmaps and strategic plans
- Support strategic initiatives in Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, and Sustainability
- Search for and report on diverse-owned businesses
- Support the design and build of a Supplier Diversity program playbook
- Conduct market research on sustainability practices
- Support category opportunity assessments and tail-spend reviews for diverse supplier opportunities
- Collaborate across TJX and facilitate cross-functional and cross-regional activities
- Support sourcing processes and supplier relationship initiatives
- Maximize supplier capabilities and evaluate performance
- Comply with TJX requirements and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Student interested in a Global Sourcing & Procurement co-op
- Highly motivated self-starter who prioritizes effectively
- Proactive and flexible
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on simultaneous projects independently and in team environments
- Flexible and adept at handling change
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Interest in building strong professional relationships
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
