Key responsibilities & impact

Gain experience through job responsibilities, projects, and initiatives in Store Operations
Perform independent analysis projects
Develop reports that help leaders make informed decisions and drive operational excellence
Conduct analyses for management and control of store expenses
Compile reports and historical data to support prompt development of Store budgets
Contribute to projects used to develop HGHS Store Operations strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Human Resources, Distribution Services, Marketing, and Loss Prevention
Engage with management at all levels to facilitate communication and collaboration
Receive supervision, guidance, and hands-on training while executing assigned projects and daily Financial Planning and Analysis activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current student eligible for an intermediate to advanced co-op
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or another potentially acceptable major
Sincerely interested in a career in Retail Store Operations
Detail oriented
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and VLOOKUP
Dashboarding experience preferred but not required, using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Proven leadership abilities
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to work with numbers and create compelling presentations
Basic accounting skills
Ability to anticipate and think through the impact of decisions
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in teams and communicating to groups
Effective time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on simultaneous projects independently and in teams
Willingness to seek feedback and incorporate it to enhance performance
