About the role

  • Own and manage end-to-end delivery plans for a portfolio of digital strategic projects
  • Translate strategy into actionable delivery plans with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering
  • Manage project constraints (time, cost, scope)
  • Ensure teams understand objectives and have appropriate resources and structure
  • Identify and manage dependencies across technical/non-technical teams and with vendors
  • Act as central point of contact to coordinate Product, Design, Business Analysts, Engineering, and QA
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Track and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies using agile and project methodologies
  • Ensure quality gates and formal sign-off before releases
  • Foster SDLC best practices and continuous process improvement, including leveraging AI for delivery where appropriate

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a delivery management role (e.g., Delivery Manager, Project Manager) working with cross-functional technical teams following the SDLC
  • Media or publishing background
  • Solid Agile experience
  • Deep practical knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Risk, issues, and dependency management experience
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to translate product roadmaps into actionable delivery plans
  • Expert-level proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Vendor and supplier management experience (desirable)
  • Experience in digital media, publishing, or subscription-based business (desirable)
