Account Manager

• Grow and maintain a commercial loan portfolio that conforms to the bank's credit quality standards
• Develop relationships with customers and serve as a resource for their banking needs
• Work closely with retail bankers to develop client relationships and cross-sell products
• Cross-sell the Bank’s lending, depository, and Treasury Management products to new and existing clients
• Evaluate loan requests, analyze financial data, and determine qualification of collateral and credit history
• Develop and maintain knowledge of internal, regulatory, and commercial guidelines
• Formulate, supervise, and implement annual Commercial and Retail Sales business plans consistent with bank goals
• Ensure an ongoing evaluation system related to business plan goals and objectives
• Manage large or complex commercial loans and counsel loan customers on loan management and financial strategies
• Provide training, motivation, and evaluation to staff in conjunction with Human Resources
• Manage relationships with business banking clients by providing service and support
• Delegate duties and responsibilities consistent with goals and objectives
• Monitor economic trends, market conditions, and regulatory standards and assess impact on the Bank
• Represent the Bank in community/economic development activities and ensure Bank visibility in the community
